Arrivals & Departures
Arrivals & Departures
Regarding Arrival Dates and Times:

Check-in for all arriving staff is on Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00pm (except for the weekend before Family Camp which is Saturday from 2:00 - 4:00pm.)  You will be given arrival information in the mail after once we accept your application.

It is very important that each of the students arrive on time.  We have orientation and staff activities planned for that first day.

Regarding Departure Dates and Times:

It is very important that each of the students stay until the ending dates and times on their contracts. When we plan for serving the camper's needs, we plan based on the expectation that each crew member will keep their commitment. When a student leaves early, it can compromise the service we provide the campers and places extra burden on the remaining summer staff. That is why any request for a variance needs to be for something unavoidable and communicated far in advance. Example: A last minute convenient ride home might become available if the crew member was able to leave a few hours early. However, that in turn would place the burden of all camp clean up on the shoulders of fewer people - all of whom are eager to get to their time off.

Regarding Rides Home:

Believe it or not, sometimes teenagers make plans without asking or informing their parents. We are responsible for them while they are at camp, so we want to know for sure that when staff leave they are either with their parents or have their parent's permission to ride with whomever they leave with. That is why we ask for the "Departure Day Information" forms. Any change must be accompanied by a form which can be mailed or faxed. This is to insure the safety of your child.
