SKY LODGE RETREATS & CONFERENCES

Our adult retreats have several lodging options. You can choose from one of our private motel-style rooms, dorm-style cabins, or bring your camper and stay in our camper park. If you prefer to stay off site, you can choose from several motels right in Montello, or in nearby Central Wisconsin towns.  For retreats with flexible lodging options, you can expect a cost variable based on where you choose to stay. For our youth retreats, campers will stay in our dorm-style cabins.

As far as clothing, we recommend comfortable, casual outfits. Clothes you can layer are recommended as Wisconsin weather can shift quite a bit between daytime and evening. A second pair of shoes might also be handy as things can get pretty muddy around here when it’s wet. If you are staying in our cabins, you should bring bedding (sleeping bags or twin-size sheets work best). No matter where you are staying, you should bring your own towels and toiletries. Some other helpful extra items include a flashlight, your Bible, a journal and pen, and bug spray. We also have coffee available all day long, so bring your favorite travel mug if you’d like!

Although we believe that you will have the best experience if you stay for an entire weekend retreat, we do allow for single day enrollment for most of our retreats. If you choose not to stay overnight, your retreat cost will be the same as the off-site lodging option.

Registration usually begins around 6 p.m. on the Friday of each retreat, with a light meal or snack served concurrently. Many retreats have their first chapel service around 8 p.m. Specific schedules and check-in instructions will be emailed to you as your retreat draws closer.
