September 27-29, 2019
You Are Invited...
Women, this event is designed especially for you. Join us for a weekend of Jesus, girl-time, and Sky Lodge fun! We all come from different places—school, work, single, married, young kids, old kids, not to mention so many other joys and challenges of life. Join us as we learn, play, laugh, share, pray, and grow together as women of God.
Women's Retreat starts Friday, September 27th with registration at 6:00 p.m. Then enjoy a Soup and Sandwich 6:00-8:30 p.m. First session starts at 8:30 p.m. Retreat ends Sunday at noon.
Embracing the fullness of God's Love
"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me."
Note - Nursing Mothers:
We desire and welcome your participation. You may bring your nursing infant with you if you are using off-site or camper park lodging options. This invitation includes nursing babies only and carries with it the understanding that crying babies will be taken out of the session.
As a wife, adoptive and biological mom, teacher, writer, speaker, and coach, Lori's heart is to encourage others to meet the challenges of life with the hope of Christ. Wherever you find yourself today, Lori's blog is a place where you can find the encouragement you need. In her first book she shares her family's adoption story and lessons for all of us on learning to surrender and trust in the Lord. You can also connect with her on: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.
So many people in the church suffer in silence with mental health issues. Maiya, an ordained pastor of the Free Methodist Church, will share her own experiences to assure the people they are not alone, encourage them to seek help and be compassionate with those who are struggling with mental illness.
What Am I Even Doing Here?
Kathy "Kate" Leverton
Join Kate for a time of honesty and encouragement as we talk about purpose, identity, losing oneself, finding oneself, and rediscovering joy exactly where God has placed you.
Ditch the workout, join the PARTY! Zumba is perfect for everybody and every BODY! Grooving to the beats of salsa, flamenco, and merengue music feels more like a dance party than a workout. This particular Zumba class will focus on easy-to-follow moves that will be modified for every fitness level and will feature popular Christian music.
Prices include the retreat, lodging, and meals.

In addition to scheduled activities, there will, of course, be free fime! Many women enjoy activities around Sky Lodge such as horse riding, mini-golfing or disc golfing, canoeing, crate stacking, the climbing wall, or hiking. Our annual Book Exchange will also be available throughout the weekend. Visiting the local candy store, antique stores, or Amish shops are also favorite free time activities!
Our Silent Auction is an annual tradition and great way for us to raise money for the new gathering/patio area (in place of the old pool) and find some sweet deals! (sometimes quite literally!) If you desire, bring some quality items to donate for our annual silent auction, and don’t forget your checkbook! Homemade treats, handmade gift baskets, photos, or services, are typical items, but we encourage you to be creative.
Our annual book exchange will be in the coffee house. If you enjoy reading, bring a book to donate or find a book to read!
