In April of 2024, it was discovered that a pipe had burst in the Log Retreat Center. The problem was not discovered right away and the damage was extensive. As a result a mold remediation company was hired to gut the entire house, remove all the moisture, and treat the remaining structure for mold. We now face the challenge of rebuilding the inside of the log house so that it can be used for full time staff housing by the summer of 2025.
