2020 Sky Lodge Family Camp Announcement

No Family Camp in 2020

The Family Camp Program Committee has reached the decision that due to COVID-19

situations and restrictions, and the recommendations and guidelines from the State of WI and

Marquette County, there will be no Family Camp in 2020.

However the recommendations and guidelines from the State of WI and Marquette County

allow for individual families to use the camper park, motels, dining room and cabins. Recreation

needs to be on an individual family basis.

Practically Sky Lodge can act as a “Vacation Destination” for families. For example:

  • A family could come to their RV in the camper park and do the recreation as a family. They could sign up for a family canoe trip, or go mini golfing as a family, etc.

  • A family could rent a cabin wing or motel room, sign up for “social distancing” meals, and enjoy recreation as a family.

  • Costs to families would be lodging and if desired, meals in the Sky Lodge dining room.

Also important to realize - if a family decides to use Sky Lodge as a “Vacation Destination”

there will be no chapel services, seminars, kids programming, or organized recreation. Basically,

all of the usual Family Camp Programming will not be available.

What would be available?

There will be times for the following recreation:

  • Horseback riding

  • Mini golf

  • Canoeing

  • Archery/Air rifles

  • Game Room

  • Climbing wall

Other recreation will be scheduled:

  • Swimming pool

  • Hitching Post

Recreation as parents are comfortable with the amount of “social distancing”:

  • Carpetball

  • Playground

  • GaGa ball

  • Sand box (sand volleyball court)

  • Campfires (on your own site)

We will all miss our regular Family Camp programming. There are three requests we have:

  1. If you were registered for Family Camp and wish to use Sky Lodge as a “Vacation Destination” - just let us know, so we can confirm your spot.

  2. If you were registered for Family Camp and do not wish to use Sky Lodge as a “Vacation Destination” in 2020 - please let us know immediately.

  3. If you want to attend Sky Lodge as a “Vacation Destination” but are not registered - just let us know and we will assign you lodging or a campsite.

To make a reservation for a cabin, motel, or campsite please call or email.

If you need to make changes to your reservation, we understand, please contact our registrar.
