Speaker: Gail Dee
Joining us from Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, WI, Gail
will be speaking on “Secrets of the Vine: Abundant Life” based on a delightful
story of a little branch learning to trust the loving hands of the Master
Vinedresser. “I have a heart for those who have short attention spans with
memories to match.” As a teacher in Women’s Ministries at Elmbrook, Gail is know
for using various and creative means to make truth stick.
SILENT AUCTION & CRAFT:
Thousands go cold every winter in Chicago, the city many of
us neighbor or call home, and this year’s craft and action seek to bring real,
viable response. This is your opportunity to BE the branches, at the coffee
house/knitting factory: THE BRANCH:
CRAFT: Plan to bring your crochet hooks, knitting needles and plenty of
yarn. If you already know how, to knit/crochet, you can teach…and if you don’t…
you can learn!
AUCTION: Plan to bring some items to donate and you checkbook.
Suggested items: Homemade treats, handmade gifts, original art, etc.
THE RESULT: all that we bring in and create will be donated to the Olive
Branch Mission in Chicago for funding and distribution throughout this coming
winter. Are you ready to BE the branches?

Free Time:
What would the weekend be without FREE TIME?! Make sure you
take time to remain relaxed and refreshed during the weekend:
– Vicious Volleyball Tournament, Wii and various SLCC Activities
– Horse Rides, Mini Golf, Canoeing, Archery, Nature Trail, Etc.
– Hay Rides to Montello and the Candy Store
– Visit the Amish Shops
– Enjoy an invigorating table massage by massage therapist, Senja (for an
additional fee).
