2010 Junior Camp Speaker
Pastor Pat loves to tell others about Jesus through his own experiences and loves to be at camp. He and his wife Cheri, have 3 grown children (all of whom have worked as summer staff at Sky Lodge) and six grandchildren, who are learning to love camp and Jesus with grandma and grandpa! |

Pastor Patrick Coakley grew up in Aurora,
IL. He began going to the Free Methodist Church on the Sunday School/VBS bus! He
gave his heart to Jesus at CYC camp at Camp Epworth in 1965 and had an amazing
encounter with the Holy Spirit at Greenville College in 1972. After serving the
church in youth ministry and traveling the country sharing Jesus on the streets,
he answered the call to ministry and has served the North Central Conference as
a pastor since 1980. He has been very involved in camping ministry, serving by
directing Family Camp, Young Teen Camp and speaking at many Junior Camps and
weekend retreats.
