Howdy all! This is Kelly, Sky Lodge Christian Camp’s new ranch director. I am glad to introduce myself along with all the horses here at Sky Lodge. I have had a great summer and am looking forward to the growth that is happening. Sky Lodge has had a horse program with trail rides for many years and now is taking it a step forward to build up a horsemanship program, and making the horse area a more intentional ministry.
Horses are a wonderful way to see the beautiful creation that God has blessed us with. I love to share my passion and faith through something that I love so much, which is what we plan to do.
This is the mission of the Sky Lodge Christian Camp Horse Program: "To create an experience surrounding the horses which points riders to Christ and spurs them on to godly living." With support and a lot of prayer, I am working on improving the existing trail riding program and developing a horsemanship program. Through these programs, campers not only get to learn how to ride, but also grow in their relationship with the Lord. Plus, they can care for and learn about His wonderful creation.
With that said, we have a lot of work ahead. We could always use your support in prayer. We could also use financial support if you believe the Lord is leading you to do so.
